Inside

Accommodation at Peristera is spread across a main house and an independent, externally accessed studio. The villa opens into the kitchen area where you instantly feel a warm, homey atmosphere and large cool comfortable living/dining room leading out to the front terrace. Opposite the fireplace is an alcove with a useful built in single daybed behind a decorative, painted wood screen that can be used to provide limited privacy, and a small washroom. A natural stone staircase leads to the first floor bedrooms. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room and glorious views from its shaded balcony. The second bedroom has twin beds with a front and side balcony overlooking the pool. Both bedrooms have high wooden ceilings with open main joists and beams built in the classical Sporadic style, allowing air to circulate freely. Finally, throughout the house, antique and modern furniture has been carefully chosen and the walls are tastefully decorated with old family portraits and other pictures.
The studio apartment is reached by an outdoor stairway to the side of the house and has its own terrace with peek sea views through the olive trees. The studio is open plan with a kitchenette, dining and living area and a low stone wall dividing the sleeping area which has a 3/4 sized bed. From the bedroom area is a w/c shower room. The apartment is decorated in the same attractive style as the main house and is a great space for either a couple, a teenage child wanting a little privacy and independence, or the perfect place for nanny to watch the kids.

Outside

The entrance to Villa Peristera brings you directly upon a beautiful patio and BBQ area accented by an ancient olive tree providing shade to a stone-built dining table. The BBQ is made in the traditional island style and has an accompanying sink. The views to the sea and distant islands make a perfect backdrop for outdoor dining. The partial stone facade of the house blends superbly with the nature around and the many terraces and outdoor areas make living in the Greek style a breeze. The fresh water pool (approx. 3mX7m), situated to take full advantage of the wonderful views, gives an added luxury not often found.
